As General Manager of the Bridgeport Bluefish Atlantic League Baseball Organization, I came to
know Dominick De Nicola through his Springfield College senior internship. Dominick began
his employment during the 2013 winter season and ended the internship during late fall 2013.
During this nine-month period, I observed how Dominick handled various tasks that included
community relations, promotions, event planning, ticket sales and property operations. I found
Dominick to be very professional both in appearance and demeanor. He was respectful and
personable. These qualities were strengths he utilized through daily contact with customers and
strong networking within community groups. With his customer friendly attitude, his efforts
helped increase our customer base and service. Dominick was an excellent team player who
wanted to learn all aspects of each department he worked. He gave excellent creative input for
events during our 2013 seasonal campaign. His motivation to help our organization grow and
succeed was evident during baseball clinics that he skillfully planned and executed. Dominick
was assertive and had both short and long-term goals that generated increased promotion for our
reading clubs and ticket sales. When he was assigned to the ticket office, it was apparent that he
had strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office programs. During the time he
worked with us, Dominick’s development and personal growth was notable through his consistent
work ethic. His enthusiastic personality brought a positive energy to the organization.
