Vacancy – Assistant Manager, Industrial Estate/Technical Advisor, Projects
Main Responsibility:
To assist the Manager IEU in the following areas:
a) Small new construction works, the construction and maintenance of factory shells at the various
industrial Estates.
b) Management of the Industrial Estates which will include all the disciplines of works involved on
the Industrial Estates.
c) Providing regular maintenance of the AID Bank Head Office building including Preventive
maintenance, Corrective maintenane, Emergency maintenance and Specialist maintenance.
To assist and advise the Credit Operations Division in the following prinicipal areas:

The evaluation, appraisal implementation and monitoring of projects which are beneficiaries of
the Banks’ funding and which include construction components. (eg. Housing, Hotels and
Infrastructure loans)
Verification of Bills of Quantities, visiting construction sites to access the value of work done and
to verify the value of properties for security.
Academic Requirements & Experience:o

A first degree in construction Engineering or a related discipline; or
Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying and 10 years experience
in the field of training.
Proficiency in and a sound knowledge of Banking and financial practices.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret plans/drawings.
Competence in the use of internet, Database, Spreadsheet, AutoCAD or similar
programme and Presentation Software is required.
Compensation Package:
Salary will be negotiable and will depend on qualification and experience.
