Project’s Name & Brief: St. Regis Cairo-Starwood Hotels & Resorts (500 Million US$)
The project is the most luxurious high rise building in Egypt, The project, envisioned to be one of the
most luxurious in Cairo, consists of a large-scale, high-rise building complex located on a prominent
site facing the Nile River along the Corniche, Cairo. The approximately 193 thousand square meter
building will contain a mix of uses, including hotel guest rooms and suites, hotel serviced apartments,
hotel luxury serviced apartments, offices, retail, and parking. The massing of the building, with two
towers 27 stories placed above a common podium of 7 stories, are arranged to take advantage of
spectacular views of the Nile.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Develop and initiate variation order requests complying with agreed procedures set by the
Employer.
 Managing and directing the variations with team personnel.
 Monitoring the variation with cost consultants nominated by the employer starting from
submission of variation passing through sessions, discussions and meetings till final
determination.
 Attending meetings with the Employer/Project Manager/Consultants.
 Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable.
 Assist Commercial Manager with a range of other duties as may be required.
 Preparing Periodical Reports (Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly) for the Management & Employer.
 Subcontractor payments, preparing client payments and preparing commercial weekly reports.
(From August 2009 till July 2012) Position: Site Engineer (Part Time).
Company: Mena Consulting Office.

 Site supervision for all structural works for residential buildings
 Site supervision for all finishing works for residential buildings
