Dolphins are mammals that breathe air through a blowhole on the top of their head. They have soft skin, a long tail for swimming, and often a dorsal fin. Dolphins hunt for fish and squid using echolocation to find prey, then bite and swallow their food whole using their 80 to 90 teeth. They are skilled hunters that can stay underwater for around ten minutes before surfacing to breathe again.
