Polar bears live along Arctic coasts and sea ice. In fall, pregnant polar bears make dens where they give birth to 1-3 cubs and stay through the winter. Polar bears are in danger of extinction due to hunting for their fur and melting Arctic sea ice from global warming reducing their habitat.
