Jennifer Maclachlan, et al., examined how traditional publishing
are changing as a result of the impact of social media, as well as how
social media are being used to foster new models of communication
and engagement with society; ACS CEO Tom Connelly, delivered
opening remarks.
2.Small Businesses Reaching Out for Market Share: Tool Kit and
Success Stories (#185 Connecting Chemistry with Society)
Joseph Sabol, Adam Blunn, etal. aim to provide perspectives on the
challenges, excitement ,and do-overs that are inherent in launching
driving growth in the commercial sector.
3. Advances in Terahertz Spectroscopy and Imaging (#413 Analytical)
Anis Rahman, et al., terahertz spectrometry, reectometry, and
address biomedical and pharmaceutical research, cancer detection,
transdermal drug delivery, materials for energy, forensic science and
security.
18. Small Chem Biz is a semi-annual publication that is released before the National Meetings
