• Impacted more than 27,000 pets
• Disaster Relief Grant program to
nonprofit organizations and
agencies for immediate financial
support
• Dedicate financial resources to four
national and regional disaster
response trucks
• Awarded more than $530,000
• Provide an outlet for associates for
help each other in a crisis that is
mutual, efficient and measurable
• Demonstrate our commitment as a
practice to provide support when
it’s needed most

FARMERS INSURANCE—OFFERING AID WHEN DISASTER STRIKES
• Focusing on disaster preparedness and resilience is an important part of Farmers community and business efforts
• Farmers Catastrophe Response Team monitors the weather nationally 24/7/365
• Deploy Mobile Claims Centers (MCCs) after disaster strikes to provide food, water, internet, sundry items, claims services
• During Hurricane Harvey, established a Farmers Village and teamed with Pet Partners
• Farmers has worked with nonprofit SBP to help rebuild communities in Joplin, San Marcos, Sea Bright and now Houston
• Wrote the Disaster Recovery Playbook
• Corporate culture focused on giving back through volunteer opportunities and the Farmers Family & Agency Funds
• Adopted Houston in 2018 with a goal of welcoming 100 families home this year

  • 3. 3 FARMERS INSURANCE—OFFERING AID WHEN DISASTER STRIKES • Focusing on disaster preparedness and resilience is an important part of Farmers community and business efforts • Farmers Catastrophe Response Team monitors the weather nationally 24/7/365 • Deploy Mobile Claims Centers (MCCs) after disaster strikes to provide food, water, internet, sundry items, claims services • During Hurricane Harvey, established a Farmers Village and teamed with Pet Partners • Farmers has worked with nonprofit SBP to help rebuild communities in Joplin, San Marcos, Sea Bright and now Houston • Wrote the Disaster Recovery Playbook • Corporate culture focused on giving back through volunteer opportunities and the Farmers Family & Agency Funds • Adopted Houston in 2018 with a goal of welcoming 100 families home this year
