giving Warning By Private Institution And others…..
4. MITIGATION
The mitigation phase differs from the other phases because it focuses on Long-
term measures for reducing or eliminating risk.
Mitigation efforts attempt to prevent hazards from developing into disasters
altogether, or to reduce the effects of disaster when they occur.
At Uttarakhand the implementation of mitigation strategies are started
after the occurrence of a disaster, i.e why that be consider a part of the
recovery process
5. PREPAREDNESS
It refers to the readiness, on the governmental, social and personal levels, to effectively
face the disaster that has already visited and it includes practical disaster-layouts
Disaster preparedness involves measures designed to organize and facilities
timely and effective rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations in case of disaster
In Uttarakhand Disaster our Govt. was seen lacked in this stage tooo………
6. RESPONSE
The response phase includes the mobilization of the necessary emergency
services.
Here in this stage we did tremendous efforts not only Govt. but every
citizen of india responsd and did what he can able to doo…….
7. RECOVERY
The aim of the recovery phase is to restore the affected area to its previous state.
Recovery efforts are primarily concerned with action that involve disaster
assessment, damage clearance, immediate rehabilitation, reconstruction
planning and implementation.
Many of us helped directly or indirectly too recovery the Uttarakhand from
this disaster
Its is said that approx. more 3 years is required to come back
