Recent trends in digital media in Bangladesh include the rise of digital mobile video advertising, YouTube in-stream video ads, organizing Facebook contests, the growth of e-commerce, and the increasing popularity of mobile payment gateways. While digital media has advantages like increasing digital marketing and reducing costs, it also has disadvantages such as excessive time spent online negatively impacting health, weakened social skills, and easier manipulation of information.
