  2. By marketing to people according to their location, we can instantly move from creating awareness to creating action
  3. Being able to target by customers give us the ability to provide highly-relevant offers to customers that are moments away from making a purchase. There’s no need to guess if a customers shops for your products or will remember your offer. Location connects you to the point when a customer is ready to take action and buy.
  4. We all knew that location-based marketing was the future, but until now, the future was never real. We never had a way to access customer data.
  5. While we always dreamed of being able to do location-based marketing, we previously never had a real way to market to customers based on their location and where they typically visit. Foursquare has changed this by creating an opt-in mechanism where people are now willing to publicly share their location in order to socialize with friends, win badges and receive offers.
  6. Foursquare has popularized the idea of social location sharing. Not only do customers check-in and signal their location, but they now share their location with their entire social graph. Friends can now learn about new locations and meet up with friends by their actual location. By having more people check into your locations, you can get free advertising for your stores.
  7. PlacePunch enables you to automatically send Twitter messages to customers that check into locations. We worked with IHG to enable them to automatically send promotional and goodwill messages to customers when they checked into their locations on Foursquare.
  8. You can also use PlacePunch to create your own loyalty program that rewards customers for checking into your locations on one of the location-based social networks. This rewards your customers for not only visiting your location but also sharing your brand with their friends. If you have your own loyalty program, we can integrate check-ins into your existing program.
  9. Finally, we help you understand when, how and where your customers are checking in with your analytics and reports. We deliver reports like venue check-in traffic and show you how many rewards have been earned with your loyalty program. We also help you understand more about your customers and enable you to easily connect with them on Twitter or Facebook or add customers that participate into your loyalty program to your email list.
