This document outlines a didactic unit for a beginner English class of 10-11 year olds focused on the topics of family and house. Over the course of 6-8 weeks, students will learn related vocabulary and grammar, including present simple and continuous tenses. Assessment will include a puppet show project and a formal written test. Lessons will encourage collaboration and consolidate previously studied content while developing listening, reading, writing and speaking skills through various activities.

Level of English: Beginners (first year of English) - 10/11 year olds - 25 Students
Objectives:
* To listen, read, talk and write about the family and the house
* To review vocabulary of the previous unit (has/hasn’t got)
* To learn about the relationship among family members
* To locate room and objects in the house
* To say what the people are doing at the moment
Teacher’s Objectives:

+ To assess students’ progress in formal evaluations as well as in progress evaluations.
Project work: Puppet show about the family, the house and what they are doing.
