- 1. Development Diary – FMP Film – Week Six Part Two Production Reflection Part Three When I finished editing, I showed it to my tutor to watch and I received some feedback. My film looked a bit messy storylineand lines did too. I discussed the options with my tutor and I accepted that I would haveto film again. I wantto refilm all the scenes becauseI want my film look more professional. I will be asking my friends to join in my film again and I’m surethey will accept because they love acting. I will bring the same alcohol and cigarettes because I wantit to exactly the same as the original. I will be asking my friend to wear the same clothes. Onething I didn’trealise is that one of my friends who is on a performing arts coursewill be free. I will recastone actor because I asked her before and then shedropped out but now she will be free. I hope she will join in my film and replace another actor who is not good acting. I booked the camera and I will be filming during half term. I hope this time my film will look better than before. I don’t need to film the cake again because I already filmed it twice and I found the second one to be much better. I only need to change the scenes. At the moment, my film isn’tclear what the story about, there was one actor playing two characters and that can make my audience confused becauseone actor wears sameclothes for both characters. I decided to remove one of the male characters “Richard” to better focus on one character “Ben”. I edited and removed some scenes with Richard in to focus on girls chatting. I watched through my film and it’s messy and confusing becausethe girl’s face was directed to Richard. So I decided I want to refresh film and make it clearer. If I don’t film again then my film will still look messy. I created two scripts, oneto film from and one as a backup justin case someof the actors drop out again. The second script has fewer characters. I printed the two scripts and I hope my actors will not drop out because I want my film be perfect and professional. I decided to choose five characters becauseit works well to film. I think six characters mightbe more than five minutes’ film, and I am limited with time and how long my film can be. I have sometimes been stressed with filming and editing becauseI expected my film look moreprofessionalthan my film I made last time. I don’twant my film look rubbish in level 3 next year. I want my film to be prefect and that’s why I will be filming again. I will savesome subtitles and credits because I
- 2. already created them. I will put them on it after the filming. I hope this time I will be more carefulwith the filming, I need more time to film the scenes.
