Developing writing skills
                Betsaida Gómez
 Writing is very important in education today
so everyone wants to know the best way to
teach it. But that can be a challenge because
there are so many different ideas out there
    (Peha, 1995-2003).
Students must have to realize the real importance of
knowing how to write correctly.

When you write…

                  >You become the consciousness of the reader.
                  >You create the impression wanted to create.
                  >The reader should get all information but also
be able to conjure up specific details
Writing instructions

*In groups of three, students
should have to write an
instructions of how to make
the following:
 -A hamburger,
 -a sandwich,
- a hotdog,
 -a picture.
Students should not improve
only on grammar and
vocabulary, but also realize
what they really want to
express, when they are writing.
Aim

This activity is not focusing on the
good use of language (grammar).
The main purpose is that students
can be able to express themselves in
a coherent form.
Assessment

              Coherence
why coherence?

 According with McCulley, (1985), coherence is
often used to identify the strenths and the
    weakness in student writing
