Overall, they feel they have worked hard and performed well during the term, but wish the maximum possible score was higher to better reflect their effort.

The youngest daughter in the Chandler family did not want to pray that morning when it was her turn. Her mother explained to her that praying is like making a phone call to God to thank him for blessings and ask for his guidance. The daughter did not understand why they had to tell God everything. Her mother explained that God already knows everything and that praying is a way to be obedient and worship their creator, who provides for them. That evening after school, the family shared all the blessings they were grateful for from God, like their home, food, family, and abilities. The oldest daughter was especially grateful although she did not make the honor roll.
