to their holiday, Elizabeth decided to have a couple of friends over.
With being distracted gossiping with her friends, Elizabeth hadn’t
paid attention to when her younger sister Lucy asks Elizabeth
permission to play outside with her friend Fred, and Elizabeth
distractedly rushes and responds, “Whatever Lucy, just get out of my
room!”
1. Elizabeth’s parents will leave and she will invite her friends
over.
2. After trying to ask Elizabeth’s permission to play with her
friend Fred, Lucy leaves the house.
3. After Realising that her sister is nowhere to be found at home,
Elizabeth leaves the house with her friends on a hunt to find
her little sister.
The Enigma: Finding where Lucy is, and also finding out who Fred is

wanting to play out with her friend Fred, however Elizabeth seems
more certain that Lucy has no friend by the name of Fred.
2. Title: ‘Lost’
Beats:
Opening scene- The film begins with a medium shot of the parents
saying their goodbyes to Elizabeth and Lucy to make their way to
their holiday. Just before they leave they lay out the rules of the
house to Elizabeth and tell her to make sure she’s taking care of
Lucy.
The turning point for the character and the audience which changes
the direction of the story - This scene is where Elizabeth is on the
phone to her friends inviting them over to her house. Once they
arrive they go straight up to Elizabeth’s room. Following this, is the
part where Lucy asks permission from Elizabeth to play out with her
friend Fred, and distracted Elizabeth responds impatiently not really
listening to what her little sister asked. After realizing that she can’t
hear her sister playing or making any noise downstairs, Elizabeth
goes to look for Lucy around the house, to find out that she is
missing. Elizabeth then leaves the house with her friends on a hunt
to find her sister.
The Twist at the end- In this scene Elizabeth and her friends, are still
trying to find Lucy. Then one of Elizabeth’s friends tells Elizabeth
that she remembers Lucy saying something about playing out with a
friend named Fred and Elizabeth assured them that she is more than
certain that her little sister Lucy has no friends by the name of Fred.
A few moments later, Elizabeth makes the discovery that Fred isn’t
3. actually a person but an evil entity who captures children and
Elizabeth is stuck on what to do next.
