A giant balloon floats above Singapore
to watch over it’s skies and shores. The
fact that the government thought of
giving the radar this form is well
thought in terms of view comfort for

residential buildings, eliminating privacy concerns.

Umbrella
sharing
To prevent getting caught
in the rain, Singaporeans
can borrow an umbrella to
cross the road. The deposit
spots are usually situated
at both ends of traffic
crossings.
A few umbrellas were stolen at the
beginning of this initiative and
residents actually donate theirs
to keep the project afloat.

aesthetically pleasant. They are also installed
as part of a free-draining paving system to
help protect the surface from traffic damage.
