Tokyo can be considered a smart city in some respects but also has room for improvement. While traffic congestion makes movement difficult, public transportation is announced in many languages to accommodate foreigners. Singapore has succeeded as a smart city through advanced urban planning, internet infrastructure, and clean energy use. Creating an intuitive smart city requires considering diverse users and improving public transportation systems.

2. The Importance of Usability and User Experience
Research
Thinking of usability, I think that more people will be able to spend comfortable
and free.
By pursuing UX, I think that it will lead to feelings of interest to people and feelings
of others.
3. The Key principles of Smart City Design
I think that you should consider many people in smart city design. For example,
seniors, people from overseas, and children. Each has a different problem.
For that reason, everyone needs to understand facilities and vehicles that are
easy to understand and easy to use.
4. Designing Smart City with Tinkercad/Leocad
We thought of a smart city that used a bus.
Separating the color of the bus makes it easier for me to find where I want to go.
Also, by discriminating by color, congestion in the bus can be avoided.
5.
6.
7.
8. Analyze your Smart City Prototype Model in
context of KPI - Talk about what you could and
could not design. (1)
We think about Aizu-wakamatsu Smart City is more convenient and we can
change very easy. Do you think you don’t n know which one is for the Bus line? Bus
line has many courses but has same last point. So we think change Bus’ body
color match each courses.
9. Analyze your Smart City Prototype Model in
context of KPI - Talk about what you could and
could not design. (2)
But this idea has a problem. That is we can’t change course bus.
There, we suggest that to create technology “screen body”. This is bus’ body
become screen or electronic board. This makes more easy advertise and more
bigger than existing, further it able to change advertisement more quickly.
10. Analyze your Smart City Prototype Model in
context of KPI - Talk about what you could and
could not design.(3)
I want to improve public transportation system in Aizu-wakamatsu city. I think it is
not convenient for us and difficult to understand, but bus is important, and many
people use in here.
I would like to see what kind of water is coming out of the road from the road
according to the outside temperature when technology is advanced and designing
Aizuwakamatsu as a smart city.
11. Your Group's selection of Smart City Apps -
Discuss the Features
The application called Foursquare is quite applicable in terms of the first visibility
of system status of heuristic evaluation.
Because the system of this application always felt clearly informing the user what
was going on within reasonable time through appropriate feedback.
12. Why did you select this app and why do you think
it suits and could be successfully used in a smart
city context?
I think that it is appropriate also in the second Match between system and the real
world.
This is because you can set the language and set the location information
according to the usage environment of the user.
13. Heuristic Evaluation of the Smart City Apps(1)
User control and freedom I felt it needed a little improvement.
Because I tried to use it a little and it seemed to be difficult to use a few times and
there were times when I mistook the operation several times.
I felt better to make improvements such as specifying how to use more for users
to make it easier to understand.
14. Heuristic Evaluation of the Smart City Apps(2)
Flexibility and efficiency of use I felt that a little improvement was necessary.
If something you want to investigate comes out other than what you are looking
into now, opening two windows is efficient but this application has to initialize the
current one and search for the next one, I thought that efficiency was bad.
However, regarding the processing speed, I felt that there was no problem.
15. Discuss how well the apps would fit in the
context of Fukushima revitalization
This application is highly suitable from the point of view of the initial visibility of
the system state of the heuristic evaluation.
So I think that I can convey the charm of Fukushima more by using that system.
I think that we can attract many tourists from outside the prefecture.
16. Discuss a successful example of a current Smart
City Model in the world
In the world Singapore has succeeded as a smart city.
Singapore is highly regarded for its success in urban planning, the quality of the
Internet environment, and the use of clean energy.
Therefore, I think that even if people from overseas come, I will be able to live a
fuller life.
17. Is Tokyo a Smart City?
I think that Tokyo is not a smart city.
Because I think traffic congestion is easy in Tokyo. Many people use buses and
cars because Tokyo is a city center. Consequently, traffic congestion tends to
occur, making it difficult to move.
18. Is Tokyo a Smart City?
However, many foreigners stay in Tokyo.
Therefore, buses and trains are announced in many languages. So I think that
foreigners who came to Japan for the first time can feel free to visit sightseeing
spots and enjoy themselves.
So I think that Tokyo can be said to be a smart city in this respect.
19. Which big city in Japan is well suited to be a
Smart City?
I think that Tokyo is the smartest city.
Because people are gathering because they are the capital city.
Therefore, it is necessary to make things that are easy to understand for various
people and make it easy to use.
20. Conclusion
After working on this subject this time I learned the importance of Smart City and
the difficulty in creating it.
I would like to make it easier to use and create something more intuitive by
considering these when making something by making use of this.
