The Karakoram International University is a leading institution of higher
learning committed to social development and evolution of peaceful and
pluralistic societies in the mountainous areas of Pakistan and geographically
similar regions elsewhere.

• Semesters : Fall- Spring-Summer each year
• Attendance: 75 % Degree Award: Minimum CGPA 2.5
• Each Program Credit Hours: 130-145
• Eligibility For Examination
• A student is eligible to sit for the final examination provided that she/he:
• Has registered him/herself for the course.
• Has attended not less than 70% of the classes conducted and completed all required academic
activities.
• Has paid all the University dues.
• Registration of Students
• Department Heads are required to provide subject enrollment list to the Examination section within 14
days from the commencement of semester using the provided organization cards.
• Drop, Add Policy / Change Department
• A Student may change or drop course within 15 days from the date of commencement of a semester
