Adobe Connect Meeting is a synchronous web-conferencing tool used for student group meetings, office hours, presentations, lectures, guest speakers, and webinar trainings. Between 2006-present, Connect has been used for live text chat, asynchronous discussions, scheduling one-on-one time for deaf or hard of hearing students, and providing real-time captions and interpreters. Lessons learned include needing more preparation time, adjusting for pacing and annunciation, and notifying registrars so deaf students are aware of Connect uses in advance.
