2. Like radio, television is accessed by a high percentage of the English
population.
News – Television news provides for somewhat longer stories then
radio.
Current affairs – These programs supplement news, and often follow
the news in scheduling. Current affairs may max live interviews with
pre recorded material and offer an opportunity to explore issues in
more depth
Other Programs – Many stations will also have other programs ( such
as breakfast programs) that offer a mixture of news, current affairs,
and entertainment, These may also explore current community
issues

Publisher, a company that produces or
disseminates literature or information
Press TV, the Iranian television network
Associated Press, a global news network
Printing press, a machine that transfers inked
images onto a medium such as paper or cloth
4. The film industry divides it self into five sectors:
Development- The writing packaging and financing of film ideas and
scripts.
Production- The process of setting up and shooting every scene in a
film
Post Production- Where all these shots are assembled, treated and
mixed into a finished product.
Distribution- The process of selling this product to audiences, via
the cinemas, retailers and rental firms.
Exhibition- The cinemas which screen the film for the general
public.
Each job in the film industry is unique and serves a different
purpose
5. Print is a large and diverse sector of the media and
news/information is presented in many different forms. Bro
speaking the main types of stories can be categorised into:
News Stories - Present basic facts about current events and issues
Features Stories – Provide an opportunity for more in-depth
exploration of an issue, allowing for opinion as well as facts. Feature
stories can describe people, places, circumstances and ideas and
may focus on a specific area such as health.
A good example for print industry is newspapers there are over 600
newspaper in Australia alone.
6. Advertising is a creative and fast paced industry. Where as the
Marketing Industry is defined as the intermediary function between
product development and sales. Examples of these are.
Advertising Industry

Planning, Research and Evaluation.
