God desires to dwell within believers and have an intimate relationship with them. However, this requires believers to separate themselves from the world's systems and ways in order to be holy as God is holy. When believers draw near to God through holiness and obedience, He will draw near to them to reveal Himself. Many believers have been saved through attractive messages about God's promises rather than through messages emphasizing God's holiness, which is needed to properly know and serve Him. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt not just for freedom, but to worship God in the desert and encounter His revelation at Mount Sinai before entering the promised land.
This document contains several Bible passages about prayer for children. It encourages children to pray boldly and ask God for anything according to his will. The passages suggest that God hears prayers, and will grant requests and meet needs. Children are taught to pray for others, including rulers and leaders, so that all may live in peace. Jesus promises that whatever children bind or loose on earth will be bound or loosed in heaven.
The passage describes Jesus' encounter with Jews during the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem. When questioned if he is the Christ, Jesus points to his works which testify about who he is. He states his works are done in God's name and that his sheep hear his voice and follow him. The Jews attempt to stone Jesus for blasphemy, but he defends himself using scripture. Later, many come to believe in him after seeing the works he performed.
The passages from Jeremiah 31 describe God establishing a new covenant with Israel that will be different than the Sinai covenant. The new covenant will involve God writing his law on their hearts and forgiving their sins so they will all know God personally. It will break the perpetual cycle of the people sinning and God punishing them. God's ultimate purpose is for the people to be holy as he is holy so they can be his people and he can be their God. The new covenant established through Jesus fulfills this by providing what was demanded - holiness and access to God.
The document discusses Jesus' teaching on prayer in the Lord's Prayer. It explains that prayer should be directed to God as our Father. Only believers have the right to call God their Father. Knowing God as our Father means we no longer have to fear, because He cares for our needs and wants us to obey His will. The document also emphasizes that prayer should be made with an attitude of humility and for the good of all people.
1) Children of God are called to imitate Christ by purifying themselves through obedience to God's word and submission to the Holy Spirit.
2) Those who practice righteousness are truly God's children, while those who practice sin belong to the devil.
3) Born again believers cannot practice sin because God's seed remains in them, and they are empowered to overcome sin through Christ's work in destroying the devil's power.

This document contains several Bible passages about God's word for children. The passages discuss how God's teachings are like a lamp providing light and guidance. They emphasize the importance of not just listening to God's word but doing what it says in order to receive blessings and remain in God's love. The final passage warns that just listening without acting is like looking in a mirror and doing nothing to improve.
Do you look like your parents? For me, some may say I really look like my dad. He just smiles more often and I don’t. Hehe. It’s just amazing to see how a child can really resemble his or her father or mother. We have a resemblance to our earthly parents no matter who big or small it may be. But we should also consider our resemblance to our heavenly Father. We will learn a lot about this as we study 1 John chapter 3.

This document discusses the promise of eternal life given by God. It argues that the promise of eternal life, as referenced in Titus 1:2, is the "mother of all promises" - being the first promise God made, even before creation, and the last to be fulfilled. It was a promise made to Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind, to motivate Him and make His work worthwhile. Keeping the hope of eternal life and heaven as a priority gives Christians comfort and prevents them from losing their way or faith amid earthly distractions.

This document provides the order of service for St. Barnabas (Chester) Anglican Church for Sunday, July 22, 2012. The service includes two scripture readings, a psalm, prayers, hymns, and a sermon by Rev. Dr. Harold Shepherd. St. Barnabas is described as
Jesus prays to God the Father for his disciples. He prays that they will be protected and kept safe as they spread Jesus' message to others. Jesus wants the disciples to experience complete unity with each other and with God, just as Jesus and God are one. He prays that believers will be sanctified and separated from the world through God's word. The ultimate goal is for all believers to be one with God and Jesus, so that the world will see their unity and love and know that God sent Jesus.
God appeared to Moses and told him that He had seen the suffering of the Israelites enslaved in Egypt. God was concerned for His people and wanted to rescue them from Egypt, bringing them to a land of milk and honey. God instructed Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand that he free the Israelites. Moses questioned how the Israelites would believe that God had sent him, so God revealed His name as "I Am" and told Moses this is what he should say. God promised to bring the Israelites out of Egypt and into the land of Canaan. He told Moses to go tell the elders of Israel about God's promise to rescue them from their misery.
To be saved means to accept Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation. While good works cannot save us, salvation is about having faith in Jesus and trusting that He died for our sins. It is only through God's grace and not by our own works that we can be saved and have eternal life.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

Mountains and Valleys
Peaks and troughs are timeless archrivals.
And life has its mountain ranges and vales
More difficult to climb to the top in arrival
And effortless the fall as departure unveils
Yet we keep on walking and making our ways
Breathing and talking as nights turn to days
Before you have focused to grasp it, it’s gone
Evading your grip as if day never had dawned
Seems the sun never went up to swiftly fall down
Or never was lost in night to later be found.
What happens when day comes, and with it, uncertainty?
Where do we turn when sickness threatens dangerously?
Hold on to the Faith that removes mountains
Crack open the Word, for within there’s a fountain
Filling the void and quenching the soul
Never lose sight of God’s ultimate goal!
For in Heaven you will have reached the heights
To leave behind the up and down nature of life!
Peaks and troughs are timeless archrivals.
And life has its mountain ranges and vales
More difficult to climb to the top in arrival
And effortless the fall as departure unveils.
Oh and wash your hands

The Will of the Father
We each have a Father, who is in heaven. He is a
Father who is gentle, kind and compassionate. He desires
our fellowship and our eternal salvation. That this is evident
is seen by the fact that He gave us His only Son to die in
our place that we might be redeemed to Him. In order that
we might attain to that salvation He has also revealed to us
His will concerning us. His will is His wish, His law, His plan
for us. All mankind must live in compliance with that will if
we hope to have that eternal salvation. In the Sermon on
the Mount in Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said, “21 "Not every-
one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the king-
dom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in
heaven. 22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons
in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you;
depart from Me, you who practice lawless-
ness!'” (NKJV)
The Father’s will can be known and must be known.
His will is clearly revealed in the New Testament. In English
the testament is a will but the Greek word used in the New
Testament is diathaka meaning covenant, or agreement. As
a covenant the New Testament reveals to us God’s will for
us – what we need to do to receive what He has promised
to us.
But we cannot do His will until we first of all know
His will. If we do not know His will then we cannot distin-
guish between His will and the will of any man including our
own will. Jesus said that “If any man will do his will, he
shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or
whether I speak of myself” (John 7:17). Paul told Timothy
to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a work-
man that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). The word that Paul uses
as “study” means “to hasten to do a thing, to exert oneself,
endeavor, give diligence” (W.E. Vine Expository Dictionary
of New Testament Words, p. 311). Our newer translations
render the latter part of this verse as “handling aright the
word of truth.” The Greek here is orthotomeo. It is used in
the Septuagint in Prov. 3:6 and 11:5 where the idea is to
“cut a straight road.” Thus the idea being, “in the present
case to the road of truth, which is to be made so straight
that all deviations of heretics will be evident” (Donald Guth-
rie, p. 148). Thus “Timothy is to offer a solid discussion of
the revealed facts of the gospel.” Once we know His will we
are obligated to do His will. Jesus instructed His disciples to
pray to God, “Thy will be done” (Mt. 6:10). Jesus, praying
in the garden prior to His arrest, prayed, “Not my will, but
thine, be done” (Luke 22:42). And again Jesus when He
knew His time to depart this life was near, He told His disci-
ples, “"If you know these things, blessed are you if you
do them” (Jn. 13:17). God’s will can be known and we
must know God’s will. But once we know His will we must
obey His will. Only then will we be blessed; only then will we
be truly happy. May we all apply ourselves to a longer and
deeper study of His will with the determination to do His will
that we might glorify and please Him and be blessed our-
selves.

will start at 6:30 pm.
