What are human rights
Human rights are inherent to all humans regardless of attributes and cannot be taken away except through due process. They are universal and guaranteed by international law through treaties and conventions. All countries have ratified human rights treaties recognizing legal obligations to protect civil, political, economic, social, cultural, and collective rights for all without discrimination. These rights are interdependent and the improvement of one facilitates others while deprivation of one impacts others. Both states and individuals have obligations - states must respect, protect, and fulfill rights while individuals should respect the rights of others.
Article 21-22
According to Bhagwati, J., Article 21 “embodies a constitutional value of supreme importance in a democratic society.” Iyer, J., has characterized Article 21 as “the procedural magna carta protective of life and liberty.
This right has been held to be the heart of the Constitution, the most organic and progressive provision in our living constitution, the foundation of our laws.
Article 21 can only be claimed when a person is deprived of his “life” or “personal liberty” by the “State” as defined in Article 12. Violation of the right by private individuals is not within the preview of Article 21.
Victims rights as human rights from human rights watch
First and foremost, all victims of crime should have their status recognized by the state. Such recognition should be forthcoming whether or not alleged perpetrators are identified or arrested. Human rights standards demand that victims be treated with compassion and with respect for their human dignity throughout the criminal justice process, and that no group or category of victims should suffer from discrimination. Victims of crime should be able to have access to and participate in the criminal justice system through procedures that provide them with information, notice, and an opportunity to be heard without prejudice to the rights of the accused. Human rights standards recognize that victims should be protected and assisted in all appropriate instances, and they should have access to specialized help in dealing with emotional trauma and other hardships caused by their victimization.2

This session will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
Abstract:
Let’s talk about powerful conversations! We all know how to lead a constructive conversation, right? Then why is it so difficult to have those conversations with people at work, especially those in powerful positions that show resistance to change?
Learning to control and direct conversations takes understanding and practice.
We can combine our innate empathy with our analytical skills to gain a deeper understanding of complex situations at work. Join this session to learn how to prepare for difficult conversations and how to improve our agile conversations in order to be more influential without power. We will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
In the session you will experience how preparing and reflecting on your conversation can help you be more influential at work. You will learn how to communicate more effectively with the people needed to achieve positive change. You will leave with a self-revised version of a difficult conversation and a practical model to use when you get back to work.

- 1. DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS BY: SAM, MIRKO, NADIA, GABRIEL, GIADA, LUANA.
- 2. INTRODUCTION "We choose these rights because we like them and we think that they are the most important rights for the lives of people."
- 3. ARTICLE 1 AND 3 Article 1: "All human beings are born free and equal dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards and another in a spirit of brotherhood." Motivation: This article is very important because of equality between people. Article 3: "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person." Motivation: Each person can have a good life.
- 4. ARTICLE 7 Article 7: "All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination." Motivation: Each person is equal before the law without discrimination.
- 5. ARTICLE 11 Article 11: "Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence. No one shall be guilty of any penal offence on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offence, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offence was committed.“ Motivation: Each person can have a defence because we are all equal before law.
- 6. ARTICLE 13 – 14 – 15 Article 13: "Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State. Everyone the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country." Motivation: Each person must be entitled to liberty of movement between States. Article 14: "Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution." Motivation: Safety life is important. Article 15: "Everyone has the right to a nationality." Motivation: The nationality is the identity of each person

ARTICLE 18-19 Article 18: Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, coscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion our belief, and freedom, either our in community with others and in public our private, to manifest his religion our belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. Motivation: We chose the article 18 because we think that freedom of thought is the must important thing. Article 19: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions and whitout interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas throught any media and regardless of frontiers. Motivation: We chose the article 19 because it is defence the freedom of opinion and expression throught any media and regardless of frontiers.
- 8. ARTICLE 23 1. Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment. To just and faurable condition of work and to protection agans unemployment. 2. Everyone, whitout any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work. 3. Everyone who works has the right to just and favorable remuneration ensurring himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection. 4.
