   – Integrated CRM and Commissions system which will enable
     FOFA compliance as well as best practice management
     reporting.

     rolled out to your clients. This can be segmented into only those
     areas you wish too access ensuring that you are building a wall
     around your client and they will not be marketed to by external

Investment Philosophy - APL
•   We subscribe to the widely accepted view that you should have a
    diversified portfolio of assets in order to enhance your portfolio
    performance and reduce risk. While diversification across asset classes is
    an important feature of any portfolio, your goals will be paramount.
•   To achieve diversification, we employ a ‘core plus satellite’ philosophy
    when structuring investment portfolios. This is designed to bring together
    complementary investments within an asset class.
•   Typically, the ‘core’ investment is a broad base, low risk portfolio. The
    ‘satellites’ represent a smaller proportion of the allocation in a particular
    asset class.
•   Satellite investments are included in the portfolio where it can be shown
    that additional exposure to a sector within an asset class will add value.
•   Keeping your clients goals and objectives in mind, our philosophy is
    designed to provide portfolio flexibility while maintaining a diversity of
    investments across each asset class.
Investment Philosophy-APL
• Our Investment Philosophy is supported by our approved product
  list.
• We seek to minimise downside risk by at a minimum to capturing
  market performance.
• We are of the view is that complimentary products add more value
  than extensive product lists.
• We classify all investment products into Core and Satellite
  products.
• We limit client exposure to satellite investments.
• We may offer products developed within the group where we
  believe they will be better than or equal to the alternative.
• Any product on our APL will be reviewed regularly to ensure they
  are being conducting their strategy “true to label”
• We do have Model Portfolios that our AR can utilise for admin
  efficiency and ease of management.
Asset Allocations
• Our Asset Allocations are constructed using 10
  years of historical and 10 years of forecast
  data.
• Our Asset Allocations, make allocations to
  Australian and International Shares, Australian
  Cash and Bonds and Unlisted Property.
Platforms
• We have an in-house SMSF Admin solution.
• We can and do maintain relationships with a
  number of platform providers.
• We are of the view that size of relationship,
  brings about service strength (including
  automation) and attractive pricing.
• To this end our preferred platforms are:
  Praemium and WealthTrac
