15. A large spider in an old house
built a beautiful web to catch flies.
Every time a fly landed on the web
and was entangled in it, the spider
devoured him, so that when another
fly came along, he would think that
the web was a safe and quiet place in
which to rest.
16. One day a fairly intelligent fly
buzzed around above the web so
long without alighting that the spider
appeared and said, "Come on
down." But the fly was too clever for
him and said, "I never alight where I
don't see other flies and I don't see
other flies in your house."
17. So he flew away until he came
to a place where there were a great
many other flies. He was about to settle
down among them when a bee buzzed
up and said, "Hold it, that's flypaper. All
those flies are trapped." "Don't be silly,"
said the fly, “They're dancing." So he
settled down and became stuck to the
flypaper with all the other flies.
19. A large spider built its web in an old house. It
quickly ate all flies that entangled in the web. Yet, one
day, it could not convince a fairly intelligent fly to alight
in its web. He said that he never alight when he doesn't
see other flies.
Thus, he flew away, until he reached a place
where he saw many other flies. He was about to settle
down when a bee stopped him by saying that the place
where the other flies are is a flypaper and that those
flies are trapped.
However, the intelligent fly replied that those
flies are dancing, and then he settled down. He was
stuck to the flypaper just like the other flies.
Our objectives for today’s video lesson are to:

Steps in summarizing a fable:
Event Section
Reaction Section
Outcome Section
Just like what happened in the story wherein the fly thought that it is not dangerous to settle down on the flypaper thinking lots of its fellow flies are just dancing on it, little did it know that they were actually trapped on it and that they are actually trying to escape but they couldn’t which in the end also happened to him because it did not listen to the bee’s warming.
