This unit will be taught to a 10th grade honors biology class of 30 students, with diverse learning styles and abilities. The objectives are for students to demonstrate understanding of organelle function, describe the implications of the microscope's invention, show proficiency in cellular respiration through a WebQuest and quiz, and demonstrate respect and logical arguments during a discussion of a scientific controversy.
