Present Job - Bluesuntree
01.03.2013 – Present
I have many roles and responsibilities within my job here; I receive and load the delivery trucks making
sure all stock is present. My many warehouse duties include organising the containers and the stock kept
within them, stock take and preparing the stock held. Another aspect of my job is quality control, checking
goods in and out, including returned items, pre-building the products, making sure they are of high quality
and ready for sale.
2. Work History
Bentleys Garden Buildings
02.08.2007 – 05.04.2008
I worked within a team of 5 helping build log cabins for domestic use. I was taught landscaping skills and
took to it well enough to be trusted to carry out jobs independently. Unfortunately due to the lack of work
I was made redundant.
Air Right
02.08.2014 – 28.10.2008
I was a trainee air conditioning unit builder and servicer, a role which was to aid the team service and fix
the units. Through this job I learnt air duct fitting and fabrication. Due to my age at the time I was unable
to progress to a further level which would have taken me to work on large building sites.
S.T.A.R.S (Voluntary Sports Coach)
05.02.2009 – 15.05.2009
This job involved me working within a company that organises and runs sporting events for disadvantaged
children in the local area between the ages of 6 and 13. After receiving training I was left to work with up
to 25 children at a time, teaching them various sports and the skills and proper etiquette needed for them.
The Bradgate Bakery
10.03.2010 – 22.04.2010
I worked in a team of 14 where we were responsible for the cleaning and food production. The food
production included cutting meat to a very accurate degree before placing into the freezers on site, using
specialist equipment.
Wilkinsons
19.04.2010 - 19.07.2010
On a temporary contract I was a night worker taking on deliveries and distributing stock appropriately.
Included in this was stock control, which involved making sure the shop floor had all said items packed into
the relevant areas at the correct numbers ready for opening.
Leicester Race Course
31.07.2010 – 2013
I started here as a casual member of the bar staff and subsequently worked my way up to the role of
assistant manager. With this role I had to take responsibility for up to 6 bars with in excess of 15 members
of staff.
This position had me aiding the manager in the running of 20 bars and over 100 members of staff; this
would include large events such as weddings and the various race days. This job cemented my team
building and communication skills.
3. Hobbies and Interests
I am into a large range of activities including being a member of Birstall Rugby club; during my time there
we have been promoted multiple leagues and achieved many accolades.
I am an avid gym goer, striving to improve myself physically and promote a healthier lifestyle for myself.
I enjoy socialising, meeting up with friends and creating new ones in and out of work.
I spend a lot of time with my son, helping him grow as a person and creating a hard working mentality that
will reflect mine.
