SKILLS
Team Works. Team work is a strong skill of mine. I have experience working in a team in a number of
situations and each time I am able to adapt in order to work effectively with the team and gain the
outcome that is desired.
Planning and Organisation. During my time at University I balanced my academic commitments with
extracurricular activities (Rugby) and voluntary positions of responsibility. I was Events Secretary for the
University of Derby Rugby Union Team.
Problem Solving. I have the ability to assess and evaluate situations and develop a creative thinking
strategy to correct problems that have occurred. I am also practised in evaluating projects and project
outcomes.
IT Skills including using Microsoft Office and Windows 7 and 8.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
During the Sports & Exercise studies course, I learnt to build and adapt training sessions depending on
the goals that needed to be achieved. I learnt how to communicate to a variety of people and
acknowledged that good communication requires listening in order to help develop the skills of the
players
Full clean driving licence held since 2009
During my pass plus i had to develop the skills i had already learned when passing my driving test in
order to attain this qualification. This took even more concentration and awareness compared to the
original driving licence.
I Also hold a manual handling certificate which allows me to pick up and move heavy and awkward objects safely and
effectively.

To assist the full time team in the maintenance and development of New Earswick and surrounding sites.
Keeping a high standard of quality across the village, paying attention to hedges, borders and lawns.
