ImmersiveM is an intelligent platform for fast creation and deployment of AR/VR powered marketing campaigns utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The platform provides a number of templates (or application basis) offering rich feature set which enables creation and running of AR/VR immersive campaigns on any smart phone, as well as AR and VR HMD. Integrated deployment infrastructure enables various add-ons to be used such as eCommerce, incentive systems, intelligent analytics, gamification elements and others. The core Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) components enhancing Non-linear Multivariate Marketing Models, help in structuring the campaign based on input data (e.g. aims, budget, duration, target groups etc.) and other available data channels (e.g. BigData, OpenData and historical campaign data).

Editor's Notes
Hello and I’m delighted to be in Amsterdam today.
My name is David Furmage from Coventry University Enterprises. I am leading Cluster 2020, one of the two Cluster Excellence concrete actions from ECIA.
Cluster 2020 takes a personalised approach to business.
We say you must look ‘through the lens’ of each individual business.
Feel their pain and think like them. Walk their journey with them and in that way understand the challenges they face and the solutions they need.
This personalised understanding informs better policies and support programmes. And I just want to mention two examples from our concrete actions…
Data Labs – We’ve all heard about big-data, but here we have been helping creative businesses use their own data, open and commercial data to bring them competitive advantage.
We tested the idea with production & PR companies, a dance company, animators and a cluster organization….
Each business was given 5-10 days of a data experts time. Outcomes included Identify new markets, mapping existing customers, leveraging new funding, making compelling personalised web content, training staff in using data and running social media sentiment analysis, to better understand their competitors networks.
Innovation Labs We have been exploring how best to connect the challenges and opportunities from high growth sectors, such as low carbon, healthcare & Tourism, with CCIs. The Library of Birmingham set a challenge to better use its amphitheatre, to increase audiences and start new revenue models.
We used visualisation tools (Smartcloud) to bring this challenge to life and help delegates understand how they could engage, develop ideas and form consortia to provide solutions to this challenge.
We were very clear about Intellectual property, IP. Innovation needs a combination of open IP discussion starters, followed by closed IP in consortia to land commercial solutions. We protected the IP for stakeholders involved.
how they could engage & develop ideas and form consortia (2min)
What works or not/what are challenges/future expectations (2min)
what works
Being very practical - so individual businesses can see how the measures of data and innovation relate to them exactly
Pro-active brokerage - Innovation doesn’t happen by magic. It needs nudging and nurturing into existence.
Funding - having some money available helps to de-risk business engagement, eg., Innovation Vouchers (up to €5K). But its not essential.
With the library of Birmingham there was no koney ‘on-the-table’ but they said if the ideas are right we can find some money.
challenges
Communicating clearly. So creatives know the labs are relevant to them (otherwise they simply don't turn up!)
Burning up time as a management consultant - with the data lab some projects became swamped with the sheer number of ways that data could be used. Its essential to focus as fast as possible on 1 way of using data .. or get more funding!
future
both programmes could be integrated into broader business support programmes subsidised through 50% ERDF/single pot funding, or using small Innovation Voucher schemes to stimulate actions.
