The Datavideo HDR-50 is a 1U rack-mountable HD/SD SDI video recorder and player that records to removable 2.5" hard drives using MPEG-II compression. It supports HD and SD video input via SDI with loop through output and embedded audio. Recordings can be played directly from the removable hard drive or copied to a computer via USB for editing in NLE software without an additional power supply. The HDR-50 provides remote control via RS-422, RS-232 and GPI and is suitable for use in broadcast trucks, installations and Datavideo's mobile video studio systems.
