Oscar has a nightmare where his roommate Costanza is murdered by two masked killers at their front door. He wakes up distressed in the early morning. In the kitchen, Oscar sees a bloody man sitting at the table who then disappears. In the living room, the ghost of his dead girlfriend Costanza appears holding a knife and chases him before he wakes up again to see the two killers from his dreams, with one stabbing him. The document is a screenplay describing Oscar's disturbing nightmares after Costanza's murder.

1. NOVEMBER 20, 2015
RINGWOOD SCHOOL

2. “DARK SIDE”
FADE IN:
INT. NIGHTMARE – NIGHT
OSCAR and COSTANZA, twenty-year-old Italians who live
together and go to the university, are watching a film
in the living room of their house. Bell rings.
CUT TO:
OSCAR
Can you go see who he is?
COSTANZA
Yes.
COSTANZA stands up and goes to the door.
CUT TO:
COSTANZA
Who is it?
CUT TO:
Two masked KILLERS, 25 and 23, are over the door.
KILLER
It’s me, Carlo.
CUT TO:
COSTANZA
Where were you? We’ve been waiting for you so long.
CUT TO:
COSTANZA opens the door, faces two masked KILLERS with
two knives. COSTANZA screams. OSCAR runs towards the
door to have a look at what happened. A KILLER killed
COSTANZA. When OSCAR arrives, he faces one of the
KILLERS walking toward him with a knife.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. BEDROOM – DAY

3. 2.
OSCAR wakes up upset and panting, he realises it was a
dream.
CUT TO:
He looks the clock on the bed side table. It is the
3:30 a.m.
CUT TO:
OSCAR gets out of bed and goes into –
CUT TO:
THE KITCHEN
To have breakfast. OSCAR sits at the table with a cup
of coffee. First to bring it to the mouth he opens his
eyes and he looks in front of him.
CUT TO:
There is a MAN sitting at the head of the table, with a
cup of coffee as well. There was not this man before.
CUT TO:
The MAN laying on the table covered with bloodstains.
Table covered with bloodstains.
CUT TO:
A MAN holding a cup of coffee and sitting at the end of
the table.
CUT TO:
The MAN laying on the table covered with bloodstains.
Table covered with bloodstains.
CUT TO:
OSCAR stands up, terrified, he wants to go away.
CUT TO:
The DEAD MAN disappeared. LUCA is scared and decides to
go into –-
CUT TO:
THE LIVING ROOM
To watch TV. OSCAR gets the living room lights on and
see a GIRL at the end of living room. She looks like
his dead girlfriend, COSTANZA.

4. CUT TO:
OSCAR
3.
Costanza, is that you?
CUT TO:
No answer.
OSCAR
Costanza? Costanza? It’s me, Oscar!
OSCAR finds himself in another vision.
CUT TO:
The GIRL laying on the floor covered with bloodstains.
There is a pool of blood.
CUT TO:
The GIRL standing at the end of living room. She holds
a knife behind her back.
CUT TO:
The GIRL laying on the floor covered with bloodstains.
There is a pool of blood.
CUT TO:
The GIRL standing at the end of living room. She shows
the knife. She runs towards him.
CUT TO:
OSCAR screams and shields his eyes. The mood becomes
calm.
CUT TO:
OSCAR removes the hands from his face. The GIRL
disappeared. OSCAR turns. He faces with the KILLERS who
killed COSTANZA and he’s carrying in his dreams.
One of the KILLERS stabs OSCAR.
CUT TO:
TITLE CARD ON BLACK BACKGROUND: DARK SIDE.
DISSOLVE TO:
BLACK FRAMES.
