1) The document is a screenplay that follows Alex, an 18-year-old university student grieving the loss of his younger brother. 2) Alex has strange visions where he is transported back to his school days and encounters his dead brother and friends. 3) A mysterious blurred figure torments Alex by showing him graphic scenes of his dead friends and brother. In the climax, the corpses of Alex's friends and brother come alive and chase him. 4) The screenplay explores themes of grief, memory, and the blurring of reality as Alex struggles to understand and escape the disturbing world he finds himself in.

2. SCENE 1
EXT. GRAVEYARD - DAY
CHARACTERS IN THE SCENE:
•Alex: 18 year old boy who started University to carry
out his career of being a movie producer.
•Priest: Local priest of the church, very humble and
supportive character who advices Alex on his journey to
recover from the passing of Alex brother
POINT OF VIEW SHOT OF ALEX.
As he walks into the graveyard with flowers in hand with
(priest accompanying him)approaching his little brother
grave and places it next to the other flowers.
JUMP CUT
CAMERA ZOOMS OUT BEHIND ALEX SLOWLY, CUTS TO THE CAMERA
FROM A LOW ANGLE SHOT IN FOCUSING AT ALEX
Priest walks back into the church to give Alex some alone
time to talk to his brother.
ALEX:
(tears streaming) I know it has
been a year since we last talked…
(small laugh) but finally got into
the University we drama of going
together(wipes tears)just
throughout these months have been
difficult constantly thinking
about you and what would you do in
these situations. I just wish you
were here with me by my side, I
just want to see you proud of what
I achieved…what we achieved, none
of us would have without you not
even Mum or Dad.
CAMERA PANS UPWARDS FOR A MID SHOT INTO A CLOSE UP TO HIS
FACE
ALEX:
But thing is…I just don’t know
what to do…my heart just feels
empty…
FADES OUT TO BLACK

3. SCENE 2
INT. SCHOOL - NIGHT
Characters in the scene: Alex - 18 year old boy who
started University to carry out his career of being a

POINT OF VIEW SHOT OF ALEX FALLING INTO THE THE SCHOOL
FLOOR. WITH A PARCEL
ALEX:
(rubbing his head)Jesus Bloody
Christ, what the hell was that!
(annoyed and shocked)
CAMERA SLOWLY ZOOMS OUT AND PANS AROUND ALEX HEAD AND
SWITCHES BACK INTO HIS PERSPECTIVE AND CAMERA MOVES
AROUND THE HALLWAY
ALEX:
(stuttering)Why am I at school?
And what is all this? And why am I
in uniform?
Alex starts to look at his clothes and begins to search
through everything on him and then hears a phone
notification sound within the parcel that dropped with
him.
CAMERA FOCUSES ONTO THE PARCEL AND SLOWLY ZOOMS IN AND
CHANGES TO 3RD PERSON MID SHOT OF ALEX AND THE PARCEL
Alex crouches down and opens up the parcel and notices a
phone with a message and proceeds to read it out
ALEX:
(slowly)“Like the gift I sent you
it’s something that both of us can
relate to with our VERY strong
ambitions in life.”
DARK MENACING VOICE:
Pick it up and refresh your
memories.
Alex proceeds to pick up the camera

4. TRACKING SHOT OF THE THE HALLWAY MOVING BACKWARDS REALLY
FAST AND STRETCHING OUT.
starts to feel like he’s losing his sense with reality
and goes out unconscious.
FLICKERING FADE TO
BLACK FOR 5 SECONDS
Alex slowly wakes up from the floor and notices the
camera is recording so he picks up and faces it forward.
SLOW TILT SHOT
Alex sees his past self and his past friends with him as
well.
ALEX:
(scared)Ok what the hell is
happening?(begins to stutter)why
are they here and why am I there?
Young Alex walks with his two best friends towards the
camera
MID SHOT
YOUNG CHRISTOPHER:
Lads we doing anything for the
holiday, can’t believe in a week
we are done with GCSE’s and Year
11 entirely.
YOUNG JOSHUA:
How about on the last day we
arrange something just us and some
more people for a full on match
and of course during the holiday
hang out most weekends. I’m just
mainly gassed for this especially
prom.(cheeky smile and laughing) I
know Alex has his eyes on someone
already.
YOUNG ALEX:
(sad and looks down)Guys I don’t
know about prom.
YOUNG CHRISTOPHER:
Listen to us we won’t force you it
is your choice but think what your
brother would say, he would say

5. Flashback, Alex young brother walking with him outside of
school. Sad music due in
TRACKING SHOT FROM BEHIND INTO MID SHOT IN FRONT OF THE
BROTHERS
CAMERON(ALEX YOUNGER BROTHER)
Live your life to the fullest and
enjoy it, I don’t want you to feel
bad or sorry anymore it is not
your fault.(sigh) Missing out on
GCSE’s and prom but if I was being
truthfully honest I am glad you
get to experience all the things
after year 11 despite me not being
with you on those times
celebrating. But I just you to
know this and that no matter what
I love you and I wish you the best
and to live happy both you and our
parents…just know that.
The brother look at each other, Cameron giving a warm to
smile to Alex easing his pain and then proceeding to hug
each other with tears in both of their eyes. The group
dissipates and the lights go off until there’s one light
left that being the one above him. Alex turns to a wall
and sees the message.
ALEX:
What the…
He looks down at the floor and sees a pulsating blood
path and at the end sees a blurred figure at the end of
the hallway.
MID SHOT OF THE BLURRED FIGURE CUTS INTO THE REACTION
CLOSE UP OF ALEX REACTION. SHOT REVERSE SHOT AS WE LOOK
AT THE CLOSE UP OF THE BLURRED FIGURE BUT WITH A CLEAR
SMILE.
Alex starts to run down the hallway with the camera in
hand, in the perspective of the blurred figure seeing the
darkness engulf the light as he runs. And stops when he
enters another memory scene on the bridge.
MID SHOT FACING BEHIND YOUNG ALEX
YOUNG ALEX:
(whine)Are we seriously going to
be doing this what if we get
caught by the teachers, we are
meant to be outside.

6. Young Christopher and Young Joshua running down the
bridge.
YOUNG JOSHUA:
Look no one will find us just
start counting and we will hide
shouldn’t take long depending on
how slow you count(sarcastic)
HIGH ANGLE SHOT ONTO ALEX HANDS
Alex is now in his young self mind and proceeds to play
on with this game of hide and seek and begins to count
from 1 to 10.
ALEX:
This is stupid but alright here I
come after you two.
DARK MENACING VOICE:
Lets make this quick.
WHIP PAN
Alex turns searching who said that line but whilst
looking he discovers something outside.
ALEX:
(shocked in fear) What…is that?
His focus turns to what he sees outside, hanging corpses
of his friends laying dead.
ALEX:
Why…why this why now. WHAT IS
GOING ON(sobs). I don’t understand
why is this happening? I don’t
even know what this world
is(shouts whilst crying) its not a
dream or a nightmare it feels to
real and…I just can’t wake up from
it no matter what…(wipes tears)I
have to find them.
SWITCHES TO FIRST PERSON AND A HIGH ANGLE SHOT OF ALEX
RUNNING
Alex runs across the bridge and runs into the classroom
that holds key in his memory.
SLOW TRACK MID SHOT

7. Alex looks around the desks until he finds a strange
figure sitting on top of one of the desks
BLURRED FIGURE:
(sarcastic) You’re here and
finally we meet without you
running.
ALEX:
(scared) who…are…you? Do you know
where…the others went?
BLURRED FIGURE:
(laughing into menacing voice) Oh
you will find out soon…but about
Chris check under his desk.
Lights turn off instantly and the figure disappears and
Alex turns to where his friends desk is in the class at
the back of the class.
BLURRED FIGURE:
(whispers) Why are you so scared,
you are the seeker and he is your
friend nothing to be scared
about(laughs).
Alex creeps towards the desk in the background outside
the class you see the blurred figure face revealed
slamming Chris head onto the window with blood on his
face with clear black eyes. Alex turns his head for a
quick second due to the noise of the slam but nothing is
there he then shines his phone camera on the desk and see
his friend clothes torn, blood dripping from his eyes to
his chin with holes on his chest. And behind that
darkness lays a dark sinister grin.
ALEX:
(scared)Chris…is that…you?
CLOSE UP ON CHRISTOPHER
Christopher jumps onto Alex attempting to stab him aiming
at the same places Chris was stabbed. And behind Chris
watching from outside the classroom is the blurred figure
laughing and taking pictures with a camera.
FADE TO BLACK
WIDE SHOT
Alex is stood looking at the gravestones of his friends
in tears as the rain falls down, and heart beat sounds
start taking place.

8. CLOSE UP AT ALEX FACE
FADE IN TO BLACK
Alex is stood in a dark room and 2 lights start appearing
revealing his friends dead corpses and at the end he sees
the figure once again.
INSANE ALEX:
(calm) You see here Alex this is
how YOU left your friends in…in
this(begins to laugh) lifeless
position. Your little brother
isn’t going to be proud of you
now(shouts whilst laughing)…Start
recording.
ALEX:
(sobs) What have I done.
INSANE ALEX:
(annoyed)I honestly don’t see why
you are crying(laughing), this is
your doing the least you can do is
smile.
CAMERON VOICE SLOWLY TURNING INTO
INSANE ALEX:
Live your life to the fullest and
enjoy it, I don’t want you to feel
bad or sorry anymore it is not
your fault.(laughing)
WIDE SHOT INTO TWO SHOT
As the laughter echoes the room the corpses begin to
move, Joshua breaks out of his chair and Christopher
stands up right standing in front of Alex laughing at his
face. And they begin to chase him down. Alex runs towards
the light and escapes back into the world with still red
sky and blood dripping. He places flowers at both of his
friends graves.
LOW ANGLE MID SHOT
ALEX:
(Tears) I’m so sorry.
MID SHOT
Out of no where Alex feels a knife going deep into his
back into his heart, and a voice enters

9. DEAD CAMERON:
But I just you to know this and
that no matter what I love you and
I wish you the best and to live
happy both you and our parents…
just know that.
Alex turns around and sees the corpse of his lifeless
brother no light in his eyes but crying blood as his
vision slowly fades he cries out
ALEX:
Brother…
The last words of Cameron return at the end at a black
screen. And a picture of the brothers together appears.
CAMERON:
Live your life to the fullest and
enjoy it, I don’t want you to feel
bad or sorry anymore it is not
your fault.(sigh) Missing out on
