Dallas Green is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for his work with the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire and his folk project City and Colour. During some time off from touring with Alexisonfire, Green recorded some acoustic guitar and vocal songs that resonated strongly with listeners when they were shared online. This led to serious interest in Green's solo work under the name City and Colour. His debut solo album as City and Colour, called "Sometimes," was released in 2005, the same year that Alexisonfire won a Juno Award for their album going platinum.
