The markets ended flat on back of heavy losses in banking space. The Sensex opened in the NSE Nifty 5,992 5,993 (0.01)
green at 20,038 and touched an high of 20,217 -up 179 points - backed by a sharp rally in metal BSE Midcap 7,854 7,883 (0.37)
stocks. However, the index pared gains in the second half of the day, and ended at 19,981, up 14 BSE Smallcap 9,771 9,859 (0.90)
