BULLION
UK industrial production rose to 1.2% in June 2013,
higher when compared to June 2012 (year-on-year
basis) while industrial output rose 1.1% between
May 2013 and June 2013 (month-on-month basis),
according to the data released by the Office for
National Statistics on Tuesday.
In the United States, economic activity in the non-
manufacturing sector grew in July for the 43rd
consecutive month, as per the latest report on
non-manufacturing released by the Institute of
Supply Management (ISM) on Monday.
The non-manufacturing index (NMI) registered 56
percent in July, 3.8 percentage points higher than
the 52.2 percent registered in June. This indicates
continued growth at a faster rate in the non-
manufacturing sector.

ENERGY
US Energy Information Administration (EIA) is
schedule to release its weekly crude oil inventory
data at 08.00 PM IST which may turn positive for
prices. Intra-day traders are advised to remain
cautious before the release of stock-piles data
while taking positions, she added.
US Federal Reserve may cut its monetary stimulus
as early as possible later this year depending on
the progress in the economy, said Charles Evans,
president of the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank on
Tuesday.
Adam Sieminski, the administrator of the EIA,
recently stated that US crude oil in July touched its
peak for any month since 1991.
Meanwhile, Libya would supply 800,000 barrels of
crude oil per day in the next month, which is higher
than usual, country's Oil Minister Abdulbari Al-
Arusi said on Wednesday.
BASE METAL
In Germany, factory orders increased in June to
3.8% when compared to the forecasts for an
increase of 1.0, according to preliminary data
released on Tuesday by Federal Ministry of
Economics and Technology.
UK industrial production rose to 1.2% in June
2013, higher when compared to June 2012
(year-on-year basis) while industrial output rose
1.1% between May 2013 and June 2013 (month-
on-month basis), according to the data released
by the Office for National Statistics on Tuesday.
