This document is the Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan (LRCP) for Daan Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. It analyzes data on students' academic performance and learning needs/gaps collected after pandemic-related disruptions. Based on this data, many students across grade levels struggled with reading, writing, numeracy, and other basic skills. The LRCP outlines plans to address learning remediation, teacher professional development, socio-emotional support, health and safety, and monitoring/evaluation to help students recover from pandemic-related learning loss and gaps. ○ The Department of Education with its
commitment to achieve quality education
and academic excellence even during the
time of educational crisis brought by the
pandemic formulated the Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) that
assures the learning must continue while
guaranteeing the health and safety of all
learners, teachers and the rest of the
community..

all its effort in tapping the support of
the parents, local government units,
and all its potential stakeholders-
internal and external.
7. Learners’ Context
The learners’ status is one of the salient factors considered
in crafting the SLRCP for S.Y. 2022-2023. A comprehensive
analysis was made to determine learners’ academic status,
challenges and areas to improve and these are the main
goals to be addressed as the school reopen for face-to-
face classes. Below presented the data taken into account
in making this year’s SLRCP.

without regrouping
Grade 2:
12/23 pupils can’t recognize letters in the

10/23 pupils can’t recognize numbers 1-100
Grade 5:
8 out of 29 can only read CVC words.
10 out of 29 were not able to comprehend
from the given text.

operations and were not able to solve routine and non-
routine word problems involving multiplication
