The Caritas Ukraine Counter-Trafficking Program uses a three-tier approach of prevention and advocacy, protection and reintegration, and partnership. It disseminates information to increase public awareness, provides assistance to trafficking victims returning home, and partners with other NGOs. The program has reintegrated over 1,000 victims through services like psychological support, job training, micro-enterprise development, and group activities. Caritas Ukraine prevents trafficking through educational activities targeting at-risk groups, professionals, and the media to increase awareness of the issue in Ukraine.

2. Caritas Ukraine’s Counter-Trafficking Program
The Program uses a three-tier approach:
• Prevention and Advocacy by dissemination of
information to further increase public awareness
• Protection and Reintegration by providing
assistance to victims of trafficking who are returning to
their countries of origin, both directly and via partner
NGOs
• Partnership is the basis of all of CU’s counter-
trafficking efforts.
