Program Five P (Big Brothers Big Sisters) is a social preventive leisure time program that focuses on friendship, support, prevention, care, and help for children ages 7-15 who may benefit from a relationship with an adult volunteer. The program forms pairs of one child and one volunteer who meet for at least 2 hours once a week for a minimum of one year, participating in activities like sports, trips, and creative hobbies. The program aims to help children build self-confidence, develop interests, express their feelings better, improve decision making, gain independence, and make new friends.
