Let’s do it! My Estonia This project was made by citizen initiative.
About the project – one man In 2008 one Estonian citizen decided to give his contribution to Estonia and to our nature.
The aim of the project The aim was to include as many people as possible, from all over the country, to clean all parks and forest from trash and garbage dumps.
How it was organized? Website, where all people who were IN could register their TEAM and mark a place where they wanted to clean. There were also several trash places marked by the organizer, but people could also choose the places they knew and wanted to choose.
How it was organized? At the website there was also information whether you needed to take simple cleaning tools (rake) or little truck was needed.
How it was organized? There was a big support from the media, all over the country it was a matter on honor to participate.
How it was organized? Every local authority and youth council carried major roll organizing necessary tools, people, logistics and distribution.
Results One Sunday morning until late Sunday evening: !!! 50 000 volunteers  ... cleaned the land of Estonia.
