in Thailand (Designed up to AFD only) – Involved as Senior Process Engineer in

gas and co-produce LPG. The Gas Separation Plant includes Acid Gas Removal,
Gas Dewpointing and liquid recovery facilities with supporting utilities and
offsites.
13. British Petroleum (BP) / Petronas Joint Venture on Malaysian Acetyls Onshore
Plant Project in Kerteh, Malaysia – Involved as Senior Process Engineer in

providing an additional Guard Bed facilities to satisfy the consumer’s stringent
product specifications.
14. Sabah Shell Berhad’s St Joseph Gas Re-injection Scheme Offshore Project –
Involved as Lead Safety & Process Engineer in providing detail design to
increase the ultimate recovery reserves of the St. Joseph Field. A new gas
injection compression facility of 60 MM scfd capacity is installed to enable re-
injection of all the formation gas produced. To facilitate the new gas injection
module and the process requirements, SJK-A platform and other satellites
facilities are also modified, upgraded or removed.
15. Occidental Oil & Gas (M) LLC - SK8 Jintan Upstream Development Offshore
Project in Malaysia – Involved as Senior Process Engineer in providing detailed
engineering design to produce 800MM scfd of natural gas components C1-C4,
on an annual average basis, +15% excess to cater for onshore peak
production.
16. Petronas Carigali’s Sabah Gas Pipeline Project (Onshore Gas Terminal OGT 12
in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia) – Involved as Senior Process Engineer at the early
stage of the project and later I was designated as Lead Process Engineer in
providing detailed process engineering design of the Onshore Gas Terminal
facilities in receiving and separating the 150MM scfd of sales gas and 560 BPD
of condensate prior to supplying to the consumers.
17. Miri Crude Oil Terminal (MCOT) – Onshore Firewater System Upgrade –
Involved as Senior Process Engineer in upgrading the MCOT Firewater System.
Conceptual Engineering Project and Process Engineering Study
Responsible in providing process studies, PFDs, P&IDs and Safety drawings of the
various Process Schemes (that will be considered by other engineering discipline in
their respective design) to achieve the design intent and recommend the optimum

subsea facilities and exporting gas product to Onshore Gas Terminal.
2. Petronas Carigali’s Samarang and Erb West Capacity Study (Offshore
Samarang A,B,C Oil & Gas Fields Complex and Erb West A, B Oil Fields
Complex) – Involved as Lead Process Engineer in determining the existing
capacity limitation of the Samarang A, B & C Fields and Erb-West A & B Fields
in Malaysia covering only the main process equipment, piping, control valves
and relief valves.
3. Talisman Malaysia Limited (TML) Northern Field Development Project - Bunga
Orkid Offshore Complex in Malaysia (BO-A CPP, WHRPs BO-B, BO-C and BO-D)

(Onshore) – Involved as Lead Safety Engineer in providing safety design
engineering for the Bintulu Stabilization Plant Rejuvenation Project. BSTAB
1&2 Rejuvenation Project covers replacement and/or refurbishment of ageing
critical process equipment, HSE critical items and utilities to ensure technical
integrity of the Plant. It is also an intention of this project to enable continuous
operation of a reliable, efficient and HSE compliant Plant beyond the original
20 years design life.
5. Sabah Shell Berhad’s Sabah Infrastructure Capacity Project (Offshore St Joseph
Complex, Kinabalu Complex, South Furious Complex and Barton Complex in
Malaysia) – Involved as Lead Process Engineer in determining the existing
capacity limitation of the complex.
6. Petronas Carigali’s Melor Offshore Gas Field Project in Malaysia (TBCP-A CPP
Offshore) – Involved as Lead Safety Engineer and Process Adviser in providing
safety engineering design to produce 340MM scfd of sales gas and 6,000 BPD
of condensate.
7. DuPont & Asahi joint venture on Poly Acetal Onshore Project in China –
Involved in Leading the Screening Process Hazards Assessment (SPHA) in
Beijing, China.
8. BASF Petronas Chemicals Sdn Berhad’s Steam Verbund Projects or Steam
Integration Study in Kuantan, Malaysia – Involved as Senior Process Engineer
in integrating the existing and newly designed steam and condensate facilities
to ensure reliable steam source for normal operation and to sufficiently
responsive that stable steam flows and pressures can be provided to users
under upset conditions.
9. Petronas Carigali (Vietnam) Sdn Berhad’s Ruby Field Water Injection Project –
Involved as Lead Process Engineer in providing conceptual / basic engineering
for an integrated drilling platform, RBW-A, which includes water injection,
crude production facilities and provision for future gas lift facilities. The
unstabilized crude oil from RBDP-A flows through the sub sea pipeline to the
FPSO where it is degassed, dehydrated and stored before being exported.
10. Petronas Gas Berhad’s (Malaysia) Gas Processing Plant Boiler Optimization
Study and GPP 2/3/4/KSC Boiler Integration Study - Involved as Lead Process
Engineer in providing feasibility studies for integration of Steam production
and consumption, Boiler Feed Water Supply and Condensate return at GPP
complex.
11. Miri Crude Oil Terminal (MCOT) Capacity Extension (Basic Option) – Involved
as a Senior Process Engineer in providing adequate plant flexibility to handle
the forecasted increase in crude oil production (250,800 BPD). As a result of
new forecasted production rates, the capacity of the existing crude handling
facilities, Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Emulsion and Wax Treatment
