Team Leader, Value chain Analysis for Annapurna Conservation Area and Manasalu Conservation
Area, National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), June 2013 to August 2013. NTNC is an apex
organization which builds the capacity of conservation committees in Nepal. This organization is
responsible for building management committees, strengthening them and hand over of
management of all conservation areas of Nepal. The assignment was unique to identify commercially
viable Non timber forest products for increasing employment and income of people in conservation
areas.
Team Leader, Assessment of vocational training and Micro enterprise development in Humla district
and Rapid Market Assessment (RMA) in Banke and Surkhet district for The Western Upland Poverty
Alleviation Project (WUPAP), June 2013. This assignment was based on identification of market
demanded vocation training, course content design and rapid market assessment.
Master Trainer, Local Governance and Community Development Program (LGCDP), Livelihood
Improvement Plan (LIP), June 2013, Training for 100 personnel in Surkhet and Humla districts. LIP is
Nepal Government own program to reach poorest of people. TOT training was provided to 40 plus
Master Trainers and these Master Trainer provided training in all parts of Nepal. Mid Western
Region of Nepal selected me as Master Trainer.
Team Leader, Assessment of Innovative ideas and Technologies for productive end use, Alternative
Energy Promotion Center/ National Rural and Renewable Energy Program (NRREP)/ Productive
End Use (PEU), April 2013 to November 2013. This assignment dealt with identification and making
catalogue of all the innovative enterprises and technologies being successfully operated by Micro,
Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nepal. All together 60 plus innovative enterprise and
technologies were identified and detail specification of 16 enterprises/ technologies are produced as
a catalogue. English version can be used by development sectors and Nepali version can be used by
community to replicate these innovative enterprises/ technologies.
