Project Details In GE – Water, we have water purification process as well as we render the
components needed for the purification to third parties as services. Both these
categories are maintained separately till now with two different interfaces. We
integrated them together in a single interface by introducing access modifier
mechanism where we maintain both separately in a single window. As we integrate
data together into same DB. We are supposed to have the historical data as well. As
a part of the project we were dealt with the migration and integration of around
200+ different customer DB’s from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 10g database for the
ease and integrity to adhere the new design.
