Project 1:
The client had an existing legacy and proprietary solution that they wanted to replace with industry standard
J2EE technology. The project involved understanding the client’s requirement for the new application as well as
working with them to add new functionality. The data model was also changed from an emphasis on stored
procedures to ORM mapping via Hibernate. Helped to enhance security by connecting to an LDAP server via
Spring Security, also prototyped an integration with Crystal Reports and BIRT reports.
Project 2:
The customer wanted to add enhancement to an existing warehouse fulfillment system. The challenges in this
task included understanding poorly documented legacy code as well as a lack of testing framework. The
enhancements allowed the customer to better perform the warehouse tasks.

Brief Job Narrative:
The application involved developing a web application to support the US government client. Worked on two
phases of the application in which I helped to developed web based applications for use by call center
employees to gather data. The applications were written in JAVA with significant integration with the Spring
framework and hibernate. Developed code across the entire application where I assisted in implementing the
front end logic as well as the business and database layer. In the second phase of the project, I also assisted in
the design, and analysis of requirements.
