Dot Matrix Display Using AT89S52 Microcontroller.
Description: Manipulating the data as per the requirement using menu based options
of editing, scrolling, blinking, current time in the hyper terminal. Configured RTC (IC
DS1307) for generating real time clock. Configured the shift register (IC 74HC164)
for communicating with the 8x8(4) Dot matrix Led which send data parallely from the
input serial data. Used EEPROM (IC AT 24C08) for saving the data which can later
resume after restarting the process .Utilized MAX 232 device for maintaing the
standard between two different logical families. Configured Latch (IC 74HC573) for
2. increasing the intensity of the dot matrix led which increases the current supply to the
LED.
VTD (Vehicle Tracking Device) with the help of GPS & GSM Technology.
Description: This tracking system is composed of GPS receiver, Microcontroller and
GSM Modem. GPS Receiver gets the location information from satellites in the form
of latitude and longitude. The Microcontroller processes this information and this
processed information is sent to the user/owner using GSM modem.
Project title: Chat Messenger using socket programming.
Description: Designed a real time server on LINUX platform waiting for the request
to provide services to the clients and client to send request for queries to be solved by
the server. Configured socket using connection oriented communication between the
client and server. Built an IPC socket to transmit data in LAN between client and
server which is later configured to bind the client’s information for acknowledgement
to the demanding client.
EXPERIENCE
Six month training from Vector India Institute Pvt Ltd which helped to :
Enhance the C skills to work in both kernel level and user level.
CPP to provide security to the real time applications by following concepts of
OOPS.
Linux to deal with varieties of system call to control OS exceptions,
limitations.
Its special files fifos, pipes, thread concepts.
Its process management unit to build different processes with fork,
vfork, exec variants different scheduling algorithms to deal with
multitasking.
Its memory management unit where the concept of paging and
segmentations, virtual memory are utilized.
Inter process communication using message queue, shared memory

8051 microcontroller architecture, its addressing modes, Timer, Interrupt
control, assembly and embedded C to communicate with controller. Serial
communication (UART), i2c, SPI protocols, interfacing with LCD, keypad.
RTOS basic differences with general purpose OS and embedded OS system
different scheduling method, hard and soft OS features.
