Rahmat has about six years’ professional experiences in Masterbatches
plastics area primarily in Color Quality control work, complaint customer & QMS
,working with two companies with different role and project development.
He is accustomed to any activities in color work such as developing
replacement of pigment / colorants, color correction, finding root causes of .
different color , customer’s audit and create preventive action for customer’s color
complaint.
His professional experiences allow him to have broad understanding
about colorant properties as well as polymer properties like Polyolefin, PET, and
Engineering plastics and also about Quality management system (ISO 9001:2008,
ISO 14001:2004,& OHSAS 18001: 2007)
In recent years, he involves in several project developments likes Green belt project
/ lean sigma project, 5S, HACCP- GMP and CPS (Clariant Production system) project
He has bachelor degree in Chemistry science from IPB (Bogor Agricultural Institute)
and having backgrounds in chemistry science area allow him to have broad
perspective about chemical manufacturing. It helps him in developing the project
concept and to carry out the analysis and evaluate the feasibility of the project.

In his current position, he has responsibilities to manage QC work and He reports to
Technical manager. His jobs are to improve Quality products, reduce rework, and
also reduce the number of complaint from customer. Since He handles QC
management on 2012, there are many continuous improvement already
implemented. For example about percentage of rework, before 2012, the
percentage of rework always more than 20 %. And then He try to do Project How to
reduce the rework until below 10 %.

2. So finally, He begins to do this project in 2012 and We can see the result, getting
percentage of rework become 15 % and so on can be improved for 2013 & 2014
(getting 9% and 8 % ). The other improvement has been implemented on QC
scheduling and QC productivity areas. He already improved QC productivity from 5
testing/FTE per day to 7.5 testing/FTE per day.

Halim Samudra Interutama Co Ltd is a Plastic compounds and masterbatches
Manufacturer. We are the first and the pioneer in the plasticscompounds
industry in Indonesia. We was proven by the achievement in getting the ISO
9001:2008.
He was responsible in monitoring QC Jobs like incoming QC, Process QC, and
outgoing QC and also evaluate SOP , WI and calibration planning. He has 15
person under his supervision, as follow 2 people in incoming, 1 people for QC
Administration, and 12 people in outgoing QC and QC Process.
As assistant of QC manager, He always focus on the Quality Objective for QC
Department and 5S monitoring.
