Academic Project
 Implementation of Field Oriented Control for PMSM Drive based on TMS320F28035 DSP
Controller
Softwares Used: CCS 5.4, OrCAD and PSpice.
Description: The implementation of the Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM)
controller by using Field Oriented Control (FOC) method. The digital signal processor (DSP) was
used as a controller to interface between the FOC and the PMSM. In this project, a 32 bit DSP
controller TMS320F28035 is used to realize the drive system. TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT board by Texas
Instrument is used to run the motor
 Surface Irregularity Monitoring System
Softwares Used: Keil μVision3 IDE and OrCAD.
Description: This system is designed mainly on a vision to provide safety for passengers, their
vehicle and co-vehicle sharing the road. This model is more help full during rainy and snow
condition. On the basics of the behaviour of sensors which are fixed at the front end of vehicle (i.e.
delay in receiving signal) the controller will decide the condition of road and alert the driver of the
vehicle.
Software Proficiency
 Programming languages and tools: LabVIEW, VHDL, Verilog, MATLAB, CCS, Programming of
8051µC, Basics of C, Java and Manual Testing.
 Operating systems: Windows 8 and earlier versions.

Extra-Curricular Activities
 A paper entitled “Implementation of Field Oriented Control for PMSM Drive Based on
TMS320F28035 DSP Controller” was published in IJMRAE journal Vol.6 No II April 2014.
 A paper entitled “Field Oriented Control of Induction Motor Drive Based on TMS320F28035
DSP Controller” was presented in national conference at New Horizon College of Engineering,
Bangalore.
