Managerial Exposure:
As a BIDW and BA( Business Analytics) Manager I know how vital it is to clarify expectations and outcomes before
hitting the launch button. Wasted time, wasted resources, and stress can be avoided simply by taking the time to
clarify expectations. Follows “Ready…aim…fire!” is the golden rule of the ideal manager.
2. Being a BIDW and Business Analytics Manager I am a self-starter that seizes opportunities and addresses problems
without waiting to be told. There is a sense of ownership in the position and the manager feels responsible for
creating the right outcomes. I understand how far their level of authority goes to avoid taking unnecessary risks for
the company.
Being a Business Intelligence and Data warehousing manager I always try to have excellent peripheral vision. That
means I need to be fullyaware of what’s going on around me. I have to maintainproductivity, offer help or
assistance when needed, and use my foresight to avoidpotential problems or mishaps. It’s not just about looking for
what’s wrong – it’s about looking for and praising what’s right, too.I think that Managers withtunnel visionare
oblivious to their surroundings other thanwhat’s in front of their noses.
To become an ideal BIDW and BA Manager at every level of manager ship in my work field I always tried to build
the respect of those who lead by holding everyone accountable to the same standards, rules, and policies.
Favoritism to one or more individuals instantly contaminates the culture I believe and puts the integrity of the
manager in question. I do not believe in double standards.
Being in the role of a BIDW and BA Manager I understand that I need to lead people and manage systems. Systems
define structure how work is done. To me leading people is about culture building, creating a sense of urgency and
shared pride. I trust Managers that attempt to manage people instead of leading them are better at creating
drama than results. I have executed this senses in my different managerial accountability
As a manager I work hard at communication and information flow. This includes listening and processing before
responding. Openness and the sharing of information build trust. If I would have closed myself and withholds
information creates distrust and toxicity in the company culture.
Being a manager I understand what creates profit and what kills it. I understand that profitability is more than
sticking to a budget – it’s about driving productivity, customer retention, and efficiency. In my opinion I always
recognize that those they lead need to understand their role in creating profit. An open-book company has
everyone pushing in the same direction.
I understand the value of time and how to manage it. In business, time is money. Urgency is energy. I have always
tried to procrastinate or give excuses for missing deadlines.
In my endeavor to become an ideal BIDW and BA Manager I have always thought myself to be as one of the
guardians of the company’s culture. I know that my personal thinking and behavior serves as a role model for
everyone around them. Thus I give stress to coach and mentor team members to keep the culture strong. I have
weed out contamination before it spreads. Simply put, team member with extra authority cherishes and protects
the culture.
I always manage what’s on my plate by empowering and trusting others. I understand that trying to be a superhero
and do it all is the fast track to burnout. I also believe that empowering others with responsibilities is the most
efficient way to build future managers.
Being in BIDW and BA Manager Role under crucial circumstances I do not feed a crisis or problem – rather organize
and control it. I dial back the emotions that cloud solutions by defining and focusing on the desired outcomes.
As a manager I have faithon the principle that all work and no play create stress and negative attitudes. It’s just not
healthy to take yourself too seriously. A sense of humor, a smile, and laughter take the work out of work by allowing
the real you to shine through from behind that manager title.
Apart from this experience related features of BIDW and BA Manager, i maintain some principle of Inspiration ( getting
and doing), true Leadership in every sphere under any circumstances , maintaining proper communication channel
intact ( with all the stake holders), not to confine my knowledge in myself nurturing them in others to create a jubilant
fraternity, adaptive to any eventuality and always in testing mode in every case (from Technical to Human Resource).
