Payroll Manager
 Currently managing a team of 2 administrators
 Responsible for the management and processing the payroll for 1,600 plus employees
 Started as a temporary Payroll Administrator and have progressed through my role to become
Payroll Supervisor and then onto Payroll Manager in 2008
 Dealing with the new starter process, contract amends, leaver process, sickness recording
and payment including company sick pay and SSP / SMP
 Solely responsible for ensuring all new government legislation is current, up to date and
complied to
 Responsible for the staging of Pension auto-enrolment in 2013, which involved corresponding
with our employee’s regarding auto-enrolment and it’s impact on employees
 Successfully enrolled the 700 plus employees who were not in our pension scheme onto our
new salary sacrifice pension scheme
 Implemented and now managing RTI to ensure compliance with HMRC rules and regulations
 Managing the progression to online third party payments including HMRC, CSA, court orders
 P11D process and submission to HMRC is within my command in addition to the production
of monthly HR and Payroll reports for board papers and in-house management
 Took ownership of the successful implementation of the new Payroll and HR system in
October 2013
 Involvement of which payroll / HR system to choose through to transition of data, checking of
accuracy of data to the parallel run and then live run on the new system
 Effectively managed the transition from paper payslips to online payslips
Experienced Payroll Manager in a high volume, fast paced environment in an ever revolving
industry. I have a vast amount of knowledge with over 20 year’s payroll experience. My roles have
involved all aspects of payroll including team management, RTI, auto-enrolment and new system
implementation. I am performance and people driven, accuracy motivated and creative with a
strong customer focus on providing the best experience.

 Responsible for processing a monthly payroll by BACs for 1600 employees alongside the Payroll
Manager
 Involved in all aspects of payroll administration including the processing of starters and leavers and
contract amends
 Involved completing inter-company bank transfers on a daily basis
 Responsible for all monthly reports, for all 42 nationwide branches
 Processed confidential company finance reports, including weekly stock takes, producing reports on part
exchanges and new car orders
 Summarise the monthly sales figures from nationwide finance companies and present to the Regional
Manager
 Continued to process Payroll for one week every month
