A recent film and television graduate with a 2:1 honours degree from the University of Newcastle, looking
to secure a First AD position to use and further develop my creative skills and knowledge in a practical
and fast-paced environment. My career goal is to work my way up the film industry and become a self-
employed film director with cast and crew.
I am looking to apply for this job being a First assistant director as I have previously worked within the film
industry for a number of years, taking quiet jobs to work my way up. Gaining many skills along the way
and seeing an overview of what takes place within this job would be why I am well suited for this role. I
am a very creative, independent and fast worker, I work well under pressure and think on my feet
therefore I waste no time and like to keep things busy to be as efficient as possible.

having a thorough understanding of all camera department paperwork and administration. Having to pay
precise attention to detail was important every day and if not accomplished things could go terribly wrong
