 Import-Contract negotiations with Freight forwarders and international agents and handle 
daily International forwarding operations. 
 Implement new policies and procedures for smooth function of Air Freight division. 
 Coordinate with the freight forwarders & overseas agent for the EX WORK 
Charges.(origin charges) 
 Renegotiated carrier contracts reducing freight expense annually.(checking transport cost 
as well) 
 Responsible for processing cargo through all stages: acceptance, documentation, customs 
clearance. 
 Maintain customer coordination & ensure timely delivery coordination with various 
departments. 
 Knowledge of import regulations, and classifications , 
 Ensure smooth and better operations & identify requirement in the area for improvement. 
 Knowledge on custom clearance procedures & coordination with Freight forwarders for 
rates & booking of the shipments. 
 Liaise with Local & Foreign Suppliers for timely shipment pick up outside & within 
India. 
 Complete Responsibility of Import & Inland Logistics.

 We have branches in Mumbai and Chennai branch, so we will be having imports in 
Chennai and Mumbai airports, ensure custom clearance and deliveries happens

coordination with team, FF and ensure timely deliveries. 
 Having contacts with courier companies for the inland, domestic transportation. 
 Maintaining and checking the bills of FF and courier as per the quote and then after 
rechecking, forwarding it to the Accounts department for payment. 
 Proper coordination with the suppliers for the pickup of the item since we have to inform 
our FF agent ,proper coordination is required and ensure proper documentatio n
