3. PERSONAL PROFILE
My early life has thrown up many challenges which I have had to work hard to overcome, however this has
taught me how to look at difficulties as opportunities, problems as possibilities and the unknown as a
chance to learn, improve myself on a personal level and develop professionally.
I am a keen mountain biker and very grateful to live in an area which give so much scope for outdoor
activities. I love golf and I try and get a round of golf in once a week if possible. My family is very important
to me and I love spending time with my wife and two children and get a lot of pleasure from being a dad.
As mentioned above I am passionate about self-improvement in education and attitude. I have gained a
multitude of certificates, qualifications and experience over the last few years, and have a fervent interest in
vehicle diagnostics.
In the past five years I have been involved in numerous outreach activities from my local church including
working with young people, I have really enjoyed the challenges this has thrown up and have personally
benefited from being involved in something that is more than just me.
